A New Identity

Driving to work today, listening to Peter Tosh, I finally conceived of a name for the ethic I am trying to create. Part of what has compelled me about the rastafari world view is the dualism of Babylon and Zion, in which Babylon represents the fallen world and colonialist, imperialist repression, while Zion is life, liberty, and Godliness.

I am creating a dualism, too. Rome is the real beginning in the west of the imperialism, elitism, and bureaucracy that were the forerunners of corporate society. The opposite of Rome, of course, are the Barbarian Tribes, which makes my movement Barbarianism.
