Welcome to Brian's new blog. New as in never done this before. I'm often behind the times. Didn't buy my first CD player until record companies stopped making records. I think it was Captain Swing. When 'Chelle Shocked released her third (second big-label) album, and I couldn't buy it on record. Or maybe it was Arkansas Traveler. I didn't buy a DVD player until stores were giving them away, and, quite frankly, didn't have a color TV until 1980.

So, here I am, slowly catching up with the world in its headlong rush to insanity. On the other hand, I listened to alternative music when it was actually an alternative, and I knew from 9/12/01 that Bush was lying about Iraq's link to al Qaida, so you're ahead of the curve sometimes.
